About The Initiative

The Glioblastoma Research Organization partnered with the Dolphins Cancer Challenge to conceptualize and create a unique art installation that blended motorsport with Miami’s vibrant creative energy. In recognition of Brain Tumor Awareness Month, the Miami Grand Prix provided a powerful platform for meaningful awareness and critical fundraising.

Each one-of-a-kind piece reflected the artist’s distinct perspective. The lineup of artists included Matteo Macchiavelli, Marcel Van Luit, Dante Dentoni, Peter Tunney, Pietro Terzini, Morgan Peterson, Kristin Konefal, Dani Klaric, Joshua Vides, Vic Garcia, Alex Alpert, and Barbara Barreto. Each helmet was auctioned off through Bonhams, with proceeds benefiting Sylvester Cancer Center.

Our involvement included: conceptualizing the project and pitching to respective partners, establishing the helmet collaboration, sourcing artists, designing the space, fabrication design, copy and content, as well as on-site coordinating and management.
